Operalia Award winner Stefan Pop is one of the tenors in international demand, especially in the Italian repertoire, from bel canto to Verdi and Puccini.
Stefan Pop's 2023/24 season begins with Don Carlo at the Staatsoper Berlin, where he celebrated his acclaimed role debut in the title role last season. He will also return to Berlin as Pinkerton (Madame Butterfly).

また、《蝶々夫人》ピンカートンで再びベルリンに登場する他、コヴェント・ガーデンのロイヤル・オペラ・ハウスでは《リゴレット》マントヴァ公爵と《ラ・ボエーム》ロドルフォ、バイエルン国立歌劇場には《マクベス》マクダフに招かれた。トロンハイムでもロドルフォを演じる。ドレスデンでは、ゼンパーオーパーの《ドン・カルロ》とフィルハーモニー管弦楽団とのヴェルディ《レクイエム》に出演。

レパートリーには、《椿姫》アルフレード、《リゴレット》マントヴァ公爵、《仮面舞踏会》リッカルド、《シモン・ボッカネグラ》アドルノ、《アッティラ》フォレスト、《二人のフォスカリ》ヤコポ、《マクベス》マクダフ、《ナブッコ》イズマエーレといったヴェルディの大役だけでなく、《ノルマ》ポリオーネといった、イタリアのほぼすべての主要な歌劇場で歌ったベルカントのレパートリーや、《ルクレツィア・ボルジア》ジェンナーロ、《ランメルモールのルチア》エドガルド、《愛の妙薬》ネモリーノ、また《ロベルト・デヴリュー》やグノー《ファウスト》、ザルツブルク音楽祭で歌った《ばらの騎士》歌手等が挙げられる。

At the Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, Stefan Pop will be seen as Duca (Rigoletto) as well as Rodolfo (La Bohème). The Bavarian State Opera has invited the much sought-after singer for Macduff (Macbeth). He will appear as Rodolfo at the Tokyo Spring Festival Tokyo as well as in Trondheim. In Dresden he will be heard both at the Semperoper as Don Carlo and with the Philharmoniker in Verdi's Requiem.

In Japan, Stefan Pop is a regularly celebrated guest.
The tenor has worked with conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Fabio Luisi, Daniele Rustioni, Daniele Gatti, Michele Mariotti, Nello Santi and others. A concert tour with Angela Gheorghiu took him to Seoul, Shanghai and Oman Muscat. In 2019 he won the "Oscar della Lirica Young Generation".
Stefan Pop was born in Bistrita (Romania). He studied and graduated from the Academy of Music "Ghoerghe Dima" in Cluj-Napoca and then won the competitions "Hariclea Darclee" and the "International Music Competition Seoul". Since 2015, Stefan Pop has been an honorary citizen of his hometown.
