Mr. Zanellato performed Verdi’s Requiem in prestigious venues under important conductors: at the Festival Verdi in Parma; at the Ravenna Festival, on tour in Italy and Slovenia and Naples under the baton of R. Muti; Vilnius; Moscow at the Rostropovich Festival on tour with the Teatro Comunale in Bologna; Barcelona; Cincinnati and in St. Louis; in Minnesota under R. Abbado; in Florence with D. Gatti; at the Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris; in Berlin with the with the Berliner Philarmoniker (under R. Chailly), in Munich and at the Teatro Regio in Parma; Santander, Parma, Muenchen with the Bayerische Rundfunks (under R. Muti); Berlin with the Konzerthausorchester (under J. Valcuha) and in Naples and Turin. Other concerts included Bruckner’s “Te Deum” in Bari; Beethoven's “9th Symphony” in St. Denis with the Orchestre National de France; Rossini’s “Stabat Mater” in Tanglewood and in Buenos Aires; Schubert “Mass” in Chicago (R. Muti conducting), where he returned for a solo recital again under the baton of R. Muti; “Messa per Rossini” at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan (R. Chailly conducting).
Mr. Zanellato made his debut as Massimiliano in a new production of “I Masnadieri” at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome. Most recently he starred in “Attila” in Bologna and Parma; “Aida” in Valencia and Naples; “Rigoletto” at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and Rome; “Macbeth” in Tel Aviv; “Norma” in Londra- Covent Garden (under A. Pappano) and in Warsaw; “Anna Bolena” in Parma; “Lucia di Lammermoor” in Naples, Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris and Berlin (Deutsche Oper); “Don Carlo” in Genoa and Tenerife; “Don Carlo” in Leipzig; “La Juive” in Antwerpen; “Aida” at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice; “Turandot” in Tokyo and on tour in Japan.
Plans include: “Luisa Miller” in Parma and in Bologna (concert version); Verdi’s “Requiem” at the Festival Enescu in Budapest (F. Luisi conducting), in Vienna with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra (R.
