リヴュー・ホレンダー(バリトン )
オーストリア出身のバリトン歌手。ウィーン国立歌劇場の子どものためのオペラ学校のメンバーとして、とりわけ《トスカ》羊飼い等を演じる等、幼少の頃からオペラに親しんだ。故郷ウィーンでは幅広い音楽教育を受け、ウィーン国立音楽大学でクラリネット、ウィーン音楽院でピアノを学んだ。2013年からはウィーン国立音楽大学でカールハインツ・ハンザーに声楽のレッスンを受け、さらに法学部の修士課程も修了している。
フランクフルト歌劇場では《カプリッチョ》オリヴィエに加えて、《ヘンゼルとグレーテル》ペーター、《はるかなる響》伯爵、《蝶々夫人》シャープレスにデビュー、次シーズンの主な出演には、ファビオ・ルイージ指揮によるジェノヴァのカルロ・フェリーチェ劇場と演奏会形式によるグラーツ楽友協会での2つの《こうもり》ファルケ博士がある。また、ウィーン・コンツェルトハウスでは、フランツ・ウェルザー＝メスト指揮ウィーン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団でJ.S.バッハ《マタイ受難曲》イエスを歌う。

Liviu Holender(Baritone)
Austrian baritone Liviu Holender discovered his love of opera at an early age being a member of the Opera School for Children at the Vienna State Opera, where he performed, among other roles, as the Shepherd in Tosca. He received his extensive musical training in his hometown of Vienna, where he studied clarinet at the University of Music and Performing Arts and piano at the Conservatory. From 2013, he took voice lessons with Karlheinz Hanser at the Vienna University of Music. In addition, he completed his master’s degree in law.

17～19年まで、ミュンヘンのゲルトナープラッツ州立劇場のアンサンブル・メンバーとして、《密猟者》エーベルバッハ伯爵、《魔笛》パパゲーノ、《コジ・ファン・トゥッテ》グリエルモ、《ラ・ボエーム》ショナール、ウド・ツィンマーマンの《白いバラ》ハンス・ショル等を歌った。19/20年シーズンからはフランクフルト歌劇場のアンサンブルの常任メンバーとなり、すでに新制作のカール・ニールセン《仮面舞踏会》ヘンレクをはじめ、《リゴレット》マルッロ、《ジャンニ・スキッキ》マルコ、《フィガロの結婚》アルマヴィーヴァ伯爵、《タメルラーノ》レオーネ、《トリスタンとイゾルデ》舵手、《カルメン》モラレスとダンカイロ、《ドン・ジョヴァンニ》マゼット等に出演してきた。
客演では、ミラノ・スカラ座でヴェルディ《仮面舞踏会》シルヴァーノに役デビュー、フィレンツェ五月音楽祭劇場でズービン・メータ音楽監督による《こうもり》ファルケ博士、ダニエレ・ガッティ指揮の新制作《ナクソス島のアリアドネ》ハルレキン等がある。東京・春・音楽祭ではマレク・ヤノフスキ指揮の《ローエングリン》で王の伝令に役デビューした。また、リガのラトビア国立歌劇場でのアルマヴィーヴァ伯爵と並行して、ブカレスト国立歌劇場で《道化師》シルヴィオにも出演。19年のブレゲンツ音楽祭ではマルッロで登場した。
オペラの舞台での活動に加え、コンサート歌手としてもますます人気を得ている。コンサートの主な出演には、フレデリック・シャスラン指揮エルサレム交響楽団でマーラー《少年の魔法の角笛》、マレク・ヤノフスキ指揮バーゼル交響楽団でブラームス《ドイツ・レクイエム》等がある。また、リートにも注力しており、「ハイデルベルクの春」音楽祭・歌曲アカデミーの21年度奨学生として、パリ・ロワイヨモン歌曲アカデミーの一環で、フィラルモニ・ド・パリ、ラジオ「フランス・ミュジーク」、ロワイヨモン音楽祭、オルセー美術館講堂、リール歌劇場等におけるリサイタルで歌った。

Besides roles as Olivier (Capriccio), Peter Besenbinder (Hänsel und Gretel), the Count (Der Ferne Klang) and Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), which he debutes as part of his engagement at Oper Frankfurt, highlights of the upcoming season will be two Fledermaus engagements as Dr. Falke at the Teatro Carlo Felice Genoa under Fabio Luisi and at the Musikverein Graz (concertante). At the Vienna Konzerthaus, he sings Jesus in Bach’s Matthäus Passion with the Vienna Philharmonic under the baton of Franz Welser-Möst.
From 2017 to 2019, he was an ensemble member at the Munich Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz, where he sang such roles as Count Eberbach (Der Wildschütz), Papageno (The magic flute), Guglielmo (Così fan tutte), Schaunard (La Bohème), and Hans Scholl in Udo Zimmermann’s Die weiße Rose. He has been a permantent member of the Frankfurt Opera’s ensemble since the 2019/ 2020 season. There he has already appeared in the leading role of Henrik in Carl Nielsen’s new production Die Maskerade, as well as Marullo (Rigoletto) and Marco (Gianni Schicchi), Conte Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Leone (Tarmerlano), Steuermann (Tristan und Isolde), Moralès/Dancaïro (Carmen) and Masetto (Don Giovanni).
Guest engagements took him to the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, where he debuted in the role of Silvano (Un ballo in maschera), and to the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, where he appeared as Dr. Falke (Die Fledermaus) under the musical direction of Zubin Mehta and as Harlequin in a new production of Ariadne auf Naxos conducted by Daniele Gatti. He made his debut in the role of the Heerrufer (Lohengrin) at the Tokyo Spring Festival (conductor: Marek Janowski). He also took on the role of Conte Almaviva at the Latvian National Opera in Riga, which he also sang alongside Silvio (Pagliacci) at the National Opera Bucharest. At the 2019 Bregenz Festival he appeared on stage as Marullo.
In addition to his activity on the opera stage, Liviu Holender is also an increasingly sought-after concert singer. Highlights of his concert career include Mahler’s Des Knaben Wunderhorn with the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra under Frederic Chaslin and the Brahms Requiem with the Basel Symphony Orchestra conducted by Marek Janowski. He also dedicates himself to the Lied. Being scholarship recipient of the Lied Academy of the Heidelberger Frühling in 2021 he sang – as part of the Royaumont Lied Académie Paris – recitals at the Philharmonie de Paris, Radio France Musique, the Festival Royaumont, the Auditorium of the Musée d’Orsay and the Opera de Lille.
