Fumio Yasuda(Composer)

Born in 1953 in Tokyo, graduate of the Kunitachi Music Academy, began composing at the age of seventeen. He soon developed an interest in improvisation and played with one of Japan's most famous improvisers, guitarist Masayuki Takayanagi. In the nineties, Fumio Yasuda recorded a piano solo album and collaborated with the Slovak National Philharmonic Orchestra on various occasions. In 1995 the collaboration with the Japanese photographer Nobuyoshi Araki began.

The main results of this cooperation are: "Tokyo Comedy" (performed 1997 in Vienna), "1999 Taipei - Summer" (1999 in Taipei), and "Shijo" (1998 in Hamburg). Since 2000 Fumio Yasuda works together with WINTER & WINTER. In this collaboration the albums "Kakyoku", "Charmed with Verdi", "Schumann's Bar Music", "Heavenly Blue" and "Las Vegas Rhapsody", "Berlin - Songs of love and war, peace and exile", "Schumann's Favored Bar Songs", "Mother Goose's Melodies" and "On the Path of Death and Life" were created.
