IRCAM（フランス国立音響音楽研究所）(エレクトロニクス )
フランク・マドレネール率いるIRCAM（フランス国立音響音楽研究所）は、音楽表現と科学研究に特化した世界最大級の公的研究所である。芸術的感性と科学技術革新が激しくぶつかり合うこのユニークな場所には、160人を超える協力者が集まっている。

IRCAM, the Institute for Research and Coordination in Acoustics/Music directed by Frank Madlener, is one of the world’s largest public research centers dedicated to both musical expression and scientific research. IRCAMの3つの主な活動〈創造、研究、発信〉は、IRCAMのパリでのコンサート・シーズン、フランス全土及び国外での公演、また国際的なフェスティバルと学際的なアカデミーを組み合わせた毎年恒例の集会「マニ-フェスト」で目にすることができる。
ピエール・ブーレーズによって創設されたIRCAMは、フランス文化省の指導のもと、ポンピドゥー・センターと連携している。IRCAMに設置されている複合的なSTMS研究ラボ（音楽と音響のための科学と技術）も、CNRS（フランス国立科学研究センター）とソルボンヌ大学の支援を受けている。
2020年、IRCAMは同研究所のオーディオ・イノベーションを商業化するためのスピン・オフ会社〈Ircam Amplify〉を設立した。最先端のオーディオ研究と世界基準の産業界との間における真の接点として、〈IrcamAmplify〉は21世紀の音響革命の主要な役割を担っている。

IRCAM's three principal activities — creation, research, transmission — are visible in IRCAM's Parisian concert season, in productions throughout France and abroad, and in an annual rendezvous, ManiFeste, that combines an international festival with a multidisciplinary academy.
