ディミトリ・ヴァシラキス(ピアノ )
出身地アテネで音楽の勉強を始め、その後パリ高等音楽院に入学し、ピアノ、室内楽、伴奏で1等賞を獲得。1992年よりアンサンブル・アンテルコンタンポランのソリストを務める。これまでともに仕事をした作曲家には、ヤニス・クセナキス、ルチアーノ・ベリオ、カールハインツ・シュトックハウゼン、ジェルジュ・クルターグ等がいる。ストラスブール・パーカッション・グループと録音した『ル・スコルピオン』は、シャルル・クロ・アカデミー賞の「最優秀現代音楽録音賞2004」部門を受賞した。ザルツブルク、エディンバラ、ルツェルン、フィレンツェ5月音楽祭、ワルシャワの秋、オタワ室内楽音楽祭、ロンドン・プロムス等の音楽祭に出演。
Dimitri Vassilakis(Piano)
Dimitri Vassilakis began his musical studies in Athens, where he was born, before entering the Paris Conservatoire, where he won First Prize for piano, chamber music and accompaniment. Since 1992 he has been a soloist with the Ensemble intercontemporain. Other composers he has worked with include Iannis Xenakis, Luciano Berio, Karlheinz Stockhausen, and György Kurtàg. His recording of Le Scorpion with the Percussions de Strasbourg won the Prize Charles Cros Academy in the category “Best Contemporary Music Recording 2004”.

コンサート・ホールでは、ベルリン・フィルハーモニー（サイモン・ラトル指揮）、ニューヨーク・カーネギー・ホール、ロンドン・ロイヤル・フェスティバル・ホール、アムステルダム・コンセルトヘボウ、ブエノス・アイレスのテアトロ・コロン等にも登場した。またソリストとしては、ソウル市立交響楽団、ブエノスアイレス・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、カトヴィツェ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、アルバニア国立オペラ、アルバニア国立放送交響楽団、スイス・ロマンド管弦楽団等と共演している。
レパートリーはバッハから新進気鋭の現代音楽作曲家の作品にまで及び、ピエール・ブーレーズやヤニス・クセナキスの全ピアノ作品も含まれる。録音のなかには、ゴルトベルク変奏曲、バッハによる平均律クラヴィーア曲集の抜粋（Quantumレーベル）、ジェルジュ・リゲティやファビアン・パニセロの練習曲（Neos）、ブーレーズ初のピアノ全曲集（Cybele）等がある。「アンシーズ」の録音（世界初演）はDGGから出たブーレーズ全集のボックス・セットにも収録されている。

He participed in festivals in Salzburg, Edinburgh, Lucerne, the Florence Maggio Musicale, the Warsaw Autumn, the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival, and the London Proms. He has performed in concert halls such as the Berlin Philharmonic (under Sir Simon Rattle’s direction), New York Carnegie Hall, London Royal Festival Hall, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, and Buenos Aires Teatro Colón. He has performed as a soloist with the Seoul Philharmonic, Buenos Aires Philharmonic, Katowice Philharmonic, Tirana Opera and Radio Orchestra and Suisse-Romande Orchestra.
His repertoire runs from Bach to emerging contemporary composers including the complete piano works by Pierre Boulez and Iannis Xenakis. His albums include, among others, the Goldberg Variations and excerpts from The Well-Tempered Clavier by Bach (with the label Quantum), etudes by György Ligeti and Fabiàn Panisello (Neos) and Boulez's first complete works for piano (Cybele). His recording of Incises (for which he performed the world premiere) appears in the boxed set of the complete works of Boulez published by DGG.
