イヴォナ・ソボトカ(ソプラノ )
ベルギーのエリザベート王妃国際音楽コンクールで優勝、世界的な称賛を集める。ワルシャワ・ポーランド・アート・ソング・コンペティション第1位、またニューヨークのイースト＆ウエスト・アーティスツ国際オーディション第1位受賞後には、カーネギー・ホールでデビュー・コンサートを行なった。

Iwona Sobotka achieved international acclaim as the Grand Prize winner of the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition in Belgium. Other awards include First Prize at the Warsaw Polish Art Song Competition and First Prize at the East & West Artists International Auditions in New York, that resulted in her debut concert in Carnegie Hall.

バーデン＝バーデン祝祭劇場でサー・サイモン・ラトル指揮ロンドン交響楽団のベルク《ルル組曲》、マレク・ヤノフスキ指揮ルクセンブルク・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団でR.シュトラウス《4つの最後の歌》のほか、同じくマレク・ヤノフスキ指揮のベートーヴェン「交響曲第9番」でバイロイト音楽祭にデビューを予定している。また、世界的に有名なバリー・コスキー演出の《魔笛》パミーナで、ベルリン・コーミッシェ・オーパーとともに、マカオ、台湾、スペインへのツアーを行なう。

10年、カロル・シマノフスキの作品を紹介するためにポーランドの高名なピアニスト、ピョートル・アンデルジェフスキによって監修されたプログラム「シマノフスキ・フォーカス」に参加し、ロンドン（ウィグモア・ホール）、ニューヨーク（カーネギー・ホール）で公演を行なった。ワルシャワのフレデリック・ショパン音楽アカデミーを卒業後、マドリードのソフィア王妃高等音楽院で、著名な音楽家・教育者のトム・クラウゼに師事した。

Highlights of her 2019/20 season include concerts with the Berliner Philharmoniker under Sir Simon Rattle in Beethoven’s Christ on the Mount of Olives, London Symphony Orchestra under Sir Simon Rattle in Berg’s “Lulu” suite at Festspiele Baden-Baden, Orchestre Philharmonique de Luxembourg und Marek Janowski in Strauss’ “Vier letzte Lieder”, debut at the Tokyo Spring Festival under Marek Janowski in Beethoven’s “Missa Solemnis” and at the Bayreuther Festspiele under Marek Janowski in Beethoven “9th Symphony” amongst others. She will perform as Pamina in the world famous Barrie Kosky’s production of “The Magic Flute” with Komische Oper Berlin on tour to Macao, Taiwan and Spain.

Other roles with which she has enjoyed great success have included: Tatyana (“Eugene Onegin”) and Donna Anna (“Don Giovanni”) under Teodor Currentzis for Tchaikovsky Perm State Opera and Violetta (“La Traviata”), Pamina (“The Magic Flute”) and Mimi (“La Boheme”) for Opera Podlaska. In 2017 came her Komische Oper Berlin debut as Pamina in Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” directed by Barrie Kosky. She made her Osterfestspiele Baden-Baden debut as Blumenmädchen in “Parsifal” with the Berliner Philharmoniker and Sir Simon Rattle one year later.
Past performances of note on the concert stage include a concert tour in Asia with the Berlin Philharmonic under Sir Simon Rattle with Beethoven’s “9th Symphony”; as well as appearances with the London Symphony Orchestra, Staatskapelle Berlin, Vienna Symphony, NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, Mahler Chamber Orchestra, City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. She has worked with many of today’s pre-eminent conductors including Sir Colin Davies, Sir Simon Rattle, Marco Armiliato, Sylvain Cambreling, Jesus Lopez Cobos, Juanjo Mena, and Massimo Zanetti.
In 2010, Sobotka took part in a ‘Szymanowski Focus’ program curated by the distinguished Polish pianist Piotr Anderszewski to promote the music of Karol Szymanowski in London (Wigmore Hall) and New York (Carnegie Hall).
Following her graduation from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Iwona continued her studies with the renowned artist and pedagogue Tom Krause at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid.
