Kaoruko Igarashi(Piano)

3rd prize and Rose Marie Huguenin Prize in the piano section of the Geneva International Music Competition 2022, known as a gateway to success for young musicians. Gold medal at the 23rd PTNA Piano Competition in Japan, Level B Silver medal at the 11th International Chopin Piano Competition in ASIA in 2011, High School Category Special bronze medal at the PTNA Piano Competition in 2014 Won the Grand Prix at the Tokushima Music Competition, Piano Division. Received 3rd at the 84th Japanese Music Competition in 2015 and the Miyake Award for the most memorable music performance in the final round. Received 3rd at the 4th Japan Chopin Competition.

Graduated top of the class from the Toho Gakuen School of Music and performed at a concert before the East Gardens of the Imperial Palace. Conducted a music performance for the Queen of Belgium when she visited Japan in 2016. Has performed as a soloist with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava,Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra, and more.

She is also active in chamber music, performing with many well-known musicians such as Vadim Repin,Tsugio Tokunaga,Yoko Hasegawa and receited a special prize at the 89th Japanese Music Competition in 2020 for accompaniment of Cello section.

Recipient of the 2010 Toho Gakuen Girls' High School Music Department Scholarship, 2014 Toho Gakuen Special Scholarship, 2014-2015 Meiji Quality of Life Scholarship, 2016 Mendelssohn Academy Scholarship in Leipzig, Germany, the Rohm Music Foundation Scholarship in 2018 and 2019. Has completed a Master's Degree at the Toho Gakuen School of Music as a scholarship student at Toho Gakuen Sengawa Campus.
