ソフィー・シェリエ(フルート )
ナンシー音楽院で学んだ後、パリ国立高等音楽院（CNSM）に進み、フルートと室内楽において最優秀の成績で卒業した。1979年にアンサンブル・アンテルコンタンポランに加入、ピエール・ブーレーズ《メモリアル》、エリオット・カーター《エスプリ・ルード／エスプリ・ドゥー》、トン＝タット・ティエット《Chu Ky V》等、数多くの作品の初演を行なった。
ピエール・ブーレーズの作品をいくつか録音しており、ドイツ・グラモフォンに《…爆発＝固定…》、エラートに《メモリアル》《ソナティヌ（フルートとピアノのための）》等がある。

Sophie Cherrier(Flute)
Sophie Cherrier studied at the Conservatoire of Nancy and then at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, where she graduated with highest honors in flute and chamber music. She joined the Ensemble intercontemporain in 1979. She has performed in the premieres of numerous works, including Mémoriale by Pierre Boulez, Esprit rude/Esprit doux by Elliott Carter and Chu Ky V by Ton-Thât Tiêt.

She has recorded several works by Pierre Boulez, including …explosante fixe for Deutsche Grammophon and Mémoriale and the Sonatine pour flûte et piano for Erato. She has also recorded the Sequenza I by Luciano Berio (Deutsche Grammophon), Imaginary Sky-lines for flute and harp by Ivan Fedele (Adès), Jupiter and La Partition du ciel et de l’Enfer by Philippe Manoury (for the collection “Compositeurs d’aujourd’hui”), Dialog/no Dialog by Pierre Jodlowski (Sirènes) and recently Beyond (a system of passing) by Matthias Pinscher (Alpha).
