アラン・ビヤール(クラリネット )
リヨン国立高等音楽院を卒業し、1995年にアンサンブル・アンテルコンタンポランに加入、主にバスクラリネット奏者として活動しているが、クラリネットやバセットホルン、コントラバスクラリネットも演奏する。
国際的に高く評価されるソリストとして、現代及び20世紀の作曲家たち数人と協働してきた。ピエール・ブーレーズ、ルチアーノ・ベリオ、ジェルジュ・リゲティ、カールハインツ・シュトックハウゼンをはじめ、フィリップ・マヌリ、ミカエル・ジャレル、パスカル・デュサパン、ブルーノ・マントヴァーニ、ヤン・ロバン等である。

Alain Billard(Clarinet)
A graduate of the Music and Dance Conservatory of Lyon, Alain Billard joined the Ensemble intercontemporain in 1995, where he performs mainly as bass clarinetist, but also playing clarinet, basset-horn and contrabass clarinet.
An internationally acclaimed soloist, he has worked with several contemporary and 20th century composers including Pierre Boulez, Luciano Berio, György Ligeti, Karlheinz Stockhausen, as well as Philippe Manoury, Michael Jarrell, Pascal Dusapin, Bruno Mantovani and Yann Robin.

国内外の主要オーケストラに客演ソリストとして定期的に招かれ、数多くの作品を初演・録音している。例えば、リザ・リム《Machine for Contacting the Dead》（2001）、ジャン＝ルイ・アゴベによる3本のクラリネットのための三重協奏曲《Génération》（2002）、ブルーノ・マントヴァーニによるバスクラリネット協奏曲《Mit Ausdruck》（2003）、ラファエル・センド《Décombres》（2007）、ヤン・ロバンによるコントラバスクラリネット、室内オーケストラ、電子音響のための《Art of Metal Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ》（2007-2008）、ディオティマ弦楽四重奏団と共演したアルベルト・ポサダス《del reflejo de la sombra》（2010）、マッテオ・フランチェスキーニ《La Grammatica del soffio》（2011）等である。
創設メンバーであるノクターン木管五重奏団は、リヨン音楽院で室内楽一等賞、ARDミュンヘン国際音楽コンクール（ドイツ）で第二位、大阪の室内楽コンクール賞を受賞している。また、オディール・オーボワン（ヴィオラ）、永野英樹（ピアノ）とともに結成したトリオ・モジュラシオンのためには、すでにマルコ・ストロッパ、ブルーノ・マントヴァーニ、フィリップ・シェーラーといった作曲家が新作を書いている。
楽器の新しい技術の研究・開発にも非常に積極的で、定期的にIRCAMやセルマー社とコラボレーションしている。

Regularly invited as guest soloist by leading national and international orchestras, he has premièred and recorded many works including Machine for Contacting the Dead (2001) by Lisa Lim, Génération (2002), a triple concerto for three clarinets by Jean-Louis Agobet, Mit Ausdruck (2003), a concerto for bass clarinet and orchestra by Bruno Mantovani, Décombres by Raphael Cendo (2007), Art of Metal I, II, III (2007-2008) by Yann Robin for contrabass clarinet, chamber orchestra and electronics, del reflejo de la sombra (2010) by Alberto Posadas with Quatuor Diotima, and La Grammatica del soffio (2011) by Matteo Franceschini.
