MITSUI FUDOSAN presents Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy in Tokyo vol.4 “Attila”
Details of the Academy & For Conductor and for Listener application
The Spring Festival in Tokyo is glad to announce that 【MITSUI FUDOSAN presents Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy in Tokyo vol.4】will be held in Japan from September 3rd through September 16th 2024. Young musicians will work together for the opera “Attila".
With sharpness and humor, Riccardo Muti aims at passing on to the young artists from all over the world what he, himself, learnt from his teachers in a lineage that in history finds him connected to Giuseppe Verdi through Arturo Toscanini and through his own teacher Antonino Votto.
We would like to announce the details of the academy, as well as the application requirements for conducting students and the application details for listening students.
This is a great opportunity for all the young musicians who aspire to become conductors to have a valuable experience of experiencing detailed instruction from the Maestro himself for nearly two weeks.

Maestro Muti will teach young conductors auditioned by himself, and also conduct the Tokyo-HARUSAI Festival Orchestra during each stage of the preparation process. The great opportunity to follow the full period of the Academy; including Maestro Muti presents “Attila” and rehearsals with singers and orchestra. It is possible to participate as a listener (student) and as a general listener.
Also, there are 3 paid concerts with Mo. Muti.
