The Spring Festival in Tokyo which is celebrating its 20th anniversary, opened on Friday, March 15.
After celebrating the 20th anniversary and the opening of the festival with a “Kagamibiraki” ceremony at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan, the main venue of the festival, the Austrian pianist Rudolf Buchbinder opened the festival with a performance of Beethoven‘s complete piano sonatas.
