We would like to inform you of a change in the cast. Klodjan Kaçani, who was originally scheduled to perform Radamès(Tenor), is unable to appear due to circumstances. Instead, Luciano Ganci will perform the role. We would like to express our sincere apologies for the change. Thank you for your kind understanding.

Considered one of the most interesting voices of the new generation, tenor Luciano Ganci took his first steps in music as a “voce bianca” in the Choir of the “Cappella Musicale Pontificia Sistina”, directed by Maestro Domenico Bartolucci. As a child he began studying singing, piano and organ, obtaining diplomas at the Conservatorieses of Santa Cecilia in Roma, Licinio Refice in Frosinone and Ottorino Respighi in Latina. In addition to his musical studies, he got a High School diploma in Surveying. Subssequently he attained a Civil Engeneering degree in Urban and Land Planning at the Rome University La Sapienza. Since 2006 he has been studying lyrical singing, mainly under the guidance of Maestro Otello Felici in Rome.

A tenor gifted with a wide and luminous sound, Luciano has been active since 2009, with debuts in Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro and Puccini's Gianni Schicchi, and then, in 2010, in the role of Alfredo in Verdi's La traviata. These performances were soon followed by a couple more Puccini debuts, as Rodolfo and Pinkerton, and as Oronte in I lombardi alla prima crociata and Turiddu in Cavalleria Rusticana. 2012 marked Luciano's international debut with La traviata in Salzburg. A few months later he made his debut in L’amico Fritz, in Christus am Ölberge by Beethoven, in Mozart's Requiem and in Il trovatore. Also, in 2012 he recorded a new album of music by Mascagni for Chandos label. Since then more new roles have followed, in Il Corsaro, Attila, and in Verdi's Requiem in 2013; Mario Cavaradossi in Tosca, Macduff in Macbeth and Beethoven IX Symphony followed in 2014; Rodolfo in Luisa Miller by Verdi, Amenofi in Rossini's Mosè (available on DVD) and Pollione in Norma in 2015; Carlo VII in Giovanna d’Arco (available on DVD) in 2016, Gustavo III in Un ballo in maschera, in the title role of Verdi’s Stiffelio (available on DVD), Puccini's Messa di Gloria and Don José in 2017.

The following year, he debuted as Malatestino in Francesca da Rimini by Zandonai, Edgardo in Lucia di Lammermoor by Donizetti and the Petite Messe Solennelle by Rossini. In 2019, came the role of Don Alvaro in Verdi's La forza del destino and the title role of Andrea Chénier. In 2020 the role of Radamès and in 2021 the role of Maurizio di Sassonia in Adriana Lecouvreur at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna. He then sang at the opening Gala at the Teatro Ponchielli in Cremona, the Macerata Opera Festival inauguration as Radamès in Aida to celebrate 100 years of opera at the MOF and debuted as Loris Ipanov, in Giordano's Fedora, in a concert performance at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam. Also, in 2021 he debuted as Oberto in Catalani’s Edmea at the Wexford Festival Opera and sings for his first time at the Wiener Staatsoper, in Adriana Lecouvreur and Tosca. In 2022 he debuted as Aroldo in the opera of the same name by Verdi in the theatres of Ravenna, Piacenza and Modena; Roberto in Le villi at the Halle aux Grains in Toulouse. He sang for the first time in Italy as Andrea Chénier at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna and as Zamoro in Alzira at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège, he then debuted at the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma as Cavaradossi, one of his signature roles. In 2023 he will return to the Rome Opera as Radamès in Aida, Pagliacci and Madama Butterfly.
Recent and upcoming engagements include the Verdi Gala and Manon Lescaut at the Comunale Nouveau in Bologna, Adriana Lecouvreur at the Opéra Royal de Wallonie, Dalinda at the Konzerthaus Berlin, Aida at the Arena di Verona, Pagliacci in Sassari, Madama Butterfly in Torre del Lago and Oslo, Fedora and I due Foscari in Piacenza and Modena, Simon Boccanegra at the New National Theatre in Tokyo, Messa da Requiem in Salzburg, Don Carlo in Dusseldorf, Un ballo in Maschera and Stiffelio at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Macbeth and Attila at Festival Verdi. During these years, he has sung at: La Scala in Milan, San Carlo in Naples, Arena di Verona, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Maggio Musicale in Florence, The Verdi Festival and the Teatro Regio in Parma, Festival Puccini di Torre del Lago, Festival della Valle d'Itria Haus fur Mozart in Salzburg, Opernhaus in Graz, Konzerthaus in Berlin, Palau del Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia, Teatro Liceu of Barcellona, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, Arena Sferisterio in Macerata, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari Herodes Hatticus and Opera in Athens, Opera of Antwarp and Gent in Belgium, Bolshoi in Moscow and Marinsky in Saint Petersburg, Spring Festival in Budapest, Royal Opera of Muscat in Oman, Abu Dhabi Theater in the Arab Emirates, Astana Opera in Kazakhstan, NCPA in Beijing, Hyogo Opera Festival in Japan and Seul Art Centre.

He has given concerts and recital in Rome, Naples, Parma, Carrara, Milan, Brescia, Padua, Ancona, Perugia, Luca, Verona, Busseto, Cremona and Piacenza as well as in India, Canada Switzerlamd, Slovenia, Chzech Republic, Korea, Japoan Hungary, Oman, Malta, Ukrauine and Russia.
