Koichi Suzuki, Executive Committee President of Spring Festival in Tokyo Executive Committee (Chairman/CEO of Internet Initiative Japan Inc.）has been selected as a Person of Cultural Merit for 2020.

The Person of Cultural Merit is an official Japanese recognition and honor which is awarded annually to selected people who have made outstanding cultural contributions for the advancement and development of Japanese culture.

Suzuki has been selected as a recipient in recognition of his great contributions to advances in art and cultural promotions through holding an annual classical music festival, Spring Festival in Tokyo.

The award ceremony is going to be held in Tokyo on November 4.
