ヴァイオリニストとして、これまでにベリオ、ブーレーズ、ベスマン、ジャレル、フェデーレ、ヌネス、マヌリ、ペソン、レヴィナス、ハーヴェイ、ヴィトマン、ストロッパ、クレスタ、セバスティアーニ、リームのソロ作品を初演している。
またソリストとして、ロイヤル・コンセルトヘボウ管弦楽団、NDR北ドイツ放送交響楽団、ケルン放送交響楽団、南西ドイツ放送交響楽団、トスカニーニ・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、リヨン国立管弦楽団、ポルトガル交響楽団をはじめ、ヨーロッパ中のアンサンブルや管弦楽団と共演している。

Violinist Christophe Desjardins has premiered solo works by Berio, Boulez, Boesmans, Jarrell, Fedele, Nunes, Manoury, Pesson, Levinas, Harvey, Widmann, Stroppa, Cresta, Sebastiani and Rihm.
As a soloist he plays with orchestras such as the Concertgebouw of Amsterdam, the NDR, WDR and SWR Symphony Orchestras, the Orchestra of the Toscanini Foundation, the National Orchestra of Lyon, the Portuguese Symphony Orchestra and other ensembles and orchestras throughout Europe.

ブリュッセルのモネ劇場にソロで出演後、アンサンブル・アンテルコンタンポランのメンバーとなった。使用楽器（ヴィオラ）は、ヴェネツィアのフランチェスコ・ゴフリラー1720年製。ドイツのデトモルト音楽大学、フランスのリヨン国立高等音楽・舞踊学校で教鞭を執っている。ソロ・アルバム『Ricercari & Ritrovari』およびテオドロ・アンゼロッティとのデュオ・アルバム『...Of Waters Making Moan』をWINTER & WINTERレーベルからリリースしている。
