RICCARDO MUTI ITALIAN OPERA ACADEMY IN TOKYO 2019

Giuseppe Verdi “RIGOLETTO”

RESERVATION for listener (student)

The deadline has already passed.

The Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy in Tokyo 2019 will focus on Giuseppe Verdi’s opera “Rigoletto”. Maestro Muti will teach young conductors auditioned by himself, and also conduct the Tokyo-HARUSAI Festival Orchestra during each stage of the preparation process.

The great opportunity to follow the full period of the Academy; including Maestro Muti at the piano who presents “Rigoletto” and rehearsals with singers and orchestra.

It is possible to participate as a listener(student) for 120 people.

Please check detail time schedule on the sheet announced on our Website.
The schedule will be changed at any time for technical reasons or circumstances beyond our control.

1) REQUIREMENTS FOR RESERVATION
  • Age under 30 years (as of April 1st, 2018).
  • Currently attending music school, college, university, conservatory, or having diploma released by those or equivalent certification for titles not obtained in Japan.
  • Attending all rehearsals scheduled in 2019.
2) PARTICIPATION FEE

15,000 yen for the entire period

The concert on April 4th conducted by Riccardo Muti is NOT included in the participation fee, but reduced tickets are available.
Your reservation is fixed after paying participation fee. We inform you after checking your form.
You need to pay extra charge (270 yen at most) for the procedure.
Any travel, as well as boarding and lodging costs, will be entirely at each participant’s own expense.
3) RESERVATION FORM

The reservation form must be filled in using the attached form and sent via e-mail to: academy@tokyo-harusai.com by February 12th, 2019. We might close the list when reaching the fixed number.
The subject of the e-mail must contain the terms “Academy Reservation: listener”.

In addition to the filled-in form, you need to send:

*copy of a regular ID that certifies your age (passport for non-Japan citizens)
